My point of view for the past few days. Trapped on a couch in the Super Happy Fun Room. :(
Okay, crevasses tend to occur in glaciers and logical deduction would state that I have not been near glaciers in the past six days.
I did fall into a very big crack in a cave and sprained both of my ankles.
Jonathan and I went caving with a few of my high school friends, expert cavers and the bride and groom, Brina and Paul this past Friday as part of the wedding weekend experience.
High School Friends after the caving: (l-r) Lea, Brina the bride, Kelli, and me.
Overall, it was a cool experience. I had never been caving before and it was cool to see all the interesting formations and hear about the history of the cave.
About hour 3 in the cave, I fell between two rock formations. I didn't know how deep the fall would be and was preparing for the worse. I landed feet first on a mini ledge and then fell a couple of more feet and landed on another ledge.
I remember feeling a crunch in my legs, buy I thought that was breaking rock. I decide to try and walk off the pain.
Fast forward to Sunday. I spend 10 hours driving a car back home. When we finished unloading the car my left leg was swollen from the calf to my toes.
I was concerned and asked Jonathan to take me to the doctor.
I found out I sprained my left ankle pretty bad, my right ankle not so bad. I was told to take 600 mg of ibuprofen three times a day and keep my legs elevated.
Today I finally get to get up and walk around a little bit.
If my health history is any indication I will totally go overboard, overexert myself and force yet another two to three days of bed rest on myself. Good times.

As far as I can remember, you didn't hold a gun to anyone's head and force them into the cave. I really did have a good time, so did Jonathan and everybody else.
It's okay, there is nothing to be sorry about. (Unless it is general empathy one feels for others when they are in a state that is below what is normal for them. Then that is okay.)
:) No worries, bruises go away, sprains heal. :)
